The wall mount screws to the wall and the portable AC tube screws to the wall mount without requiring duct taping. During the months when the portable AC is not in use, there is a cover/plug (6CCWPLUG) specially designed for the wall mount. Designed to fit most 6 inch diameter portable air conditioner tubes. Not all portable AC tubes will fit so measure your AC tube to be sure it's dimensions are match that of the wall mount. Specially designed cover/plug for the 6CCWMOUNT wall mount ASIN B096QXL8QL is a bundle of 6CCWMOUNT and 6CCWPLUG. This convenient bundle contains already matched wall mount and plug. The wall mount has large counter-clockwise thread designed to fit tightly into compatible tubes.
